South London’s leading co-educational day school, Alleyn’s School, has announced the opening of Alleyn’s Regent’s Park and Alleyn’s Hampstead, in partnership with  Cognita, a leading global schools group, from September 2025.

The partnership will see North Bridge House Regent’s Park Preparatory School become Alleyn’s Regent’s Park for children aged 4-13 from September 2025. North Bridge House School Hampstead will open a Junior section in addition to its Nursery, Pre-prep, Senior and Sixth Form divisions, to become Alleyn’s Hampstead in September 2026 for children aged 2-18.

The addition of these two new schools means Alleyn’s will be educating children north of the River Thames for the first time in the school’s 400-year history as the schools become members of the newly established Alleyn’s Schools Group.

As Alleyn’s schools, Alleyn’s Regent’s Park (led by Head Tom Le Tissier) and Alleyn’s Hampstead (led by Heads Chris Jones and Sarah Cartwright-Styles) will deliver Alleyn’s award-winning holistic education across academic, co-curricular and pastoral provision, whilst continuing to be owned and operated by Cognita.

Cognita will also be investing in the development and renovation of the Hampstead and Regent’s Park school campuses, including the provision of a new pastoral care centre ‘The Well’ and tech studios for the provision of Alleyn’s pioneering tech and ethical skills curriculum, the AiQ.

Jane Lunnon, Head at Alleyn’s School said: “We are thrilled to be expanding North of the River with the opening of Alleyn’s Regent’s Park and Alleyn’s Hampstead. Both schools already have an incredible energy and commitment to developing the mind and heart of every child with creativity, aspiration and joy. Each child’s entire school experience will reflect Alleyn’s ‘All We Can Be’ ethos and we’re delighted to welcome them to the new Alleyn’s Schools Group.”

“Children at Alleyn’s Regent’s Park and Alleyn’s Hampstead will benefit from our holistic approach to education. This includes our ‘Aspiring Minds’ academic enrichment programme, our pastoral skills programme, ‘the AEQ’ and our values-based cocurricular and partnership programme ‘All In’.

“We will also be sharing our ethical and practical tech curriculum, ‘the AiQ’ – a pioneering course which explores the powerful and exciting connections between traditional IQ and AI. It develops an ethical, technical and creative understanding of AI and teaches our students how to flourish and adapt AI tools for lasting good.”
