All sorted now. Just wanted to reiterate though -
NEVER sit at home feeling anxious - always best to sort out.

Thanks. I havent managed to speak to anybody yet so thanks so much for that. It really has put my mind at rest a bit. I didnt have a c-sec but I wouldnt have thought they would leave it that long if it was something bad. I will try and give them a call today, or monday. Thanks again :)

Did you have a c-section with your first? I had a similar letter (at similar timings) and it was referring to the appointment where they discuss notes from your first birth.
Best to call them directly that keep guessing but I though I would post considering it's almost the weekend and you might not have managed to talk to anybody there.

DEFINITELY contact them and ask for an explanation - it could be any number of things but bearing in mind if it were serious you would have been told. I will pass this on to the Matron for antenatal bookings as I can see perfectly why you might be anxious and no-one wants that!!

All the best.

Hi, I would call your midwife or the hospital and ask them if they could tell you what this means. Hopefully they'll be able to explain and put your mind at ease.

Hope things go well for you

Hi all. I am 12 weeks pregnant on Sunday. I had my first scan almost 2 weeks ago and have another on Monday because I was too early at the first. I also had my blood tests done almost 2 weeks ago. I've just received a letter from St Georges saying "The antenatal midwife has suggested that it might be helpful if you had an appointment to see me. I have therefore made an appointment for you on Thursday 24th April 2014" I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had one of these because I'm sure I didnt with my first. I can't help but worry, but then I think that it can't be THAT bad if the appointment is for so long away. I will be 5 months by then? I need someone to help put my mind at rest lol
