There are some fantastic sites in the UK. Cornish Tipi Holidays provides you with your accommodation in a truely wonderful setting for a fantastic adventure. Or Long Valley Yurts in the Lake District gives you a Morrocon experience in a stunning location. Humble Bee Farm have wooden Wigwams for little Indians on the East Coast and the Quiet Site in the Lakes have heated wooden pods on a wonderful family run site. All these and many more can be found on http://www.awaywiththekids.co.uk- which provides an inspiring list of carefully selected, child friendly family holiday destinations in the UK. :D

I would definitely recommend Canvas Holidays (http://www.canvasholidays.co.uk). Their prices are very reasonable and they have lovely locations all over Europe - we've stayed at the one near Venice, one in the Ardeche and their site near Paris (brilliant for daytrips to Disneyland). Facilities (including loos!) are excellent, and there's loads for kids to do. Our three quickly made lots of friends. Babysitting and kids' clubs are on site, too. We usually go with a group of friends and their children and everyone has a fab time.

We're thinking of going camping next year - but I'm definitely not a billy can/chemical loo type. I need my home comforts! Somewhere by the sea and HOT would be good. Can anyone recommend a decent camping holiday? :D
