Recommendation for a KS3 tutor

by Jess from Mentor Education » Mon Feb 10, 2025 1:14 pm

Dear Clapham222,

We would be delighted to help your daughter.  Our secondary school age tutors are qualified teachers with many years experience at the subjects they tutor for us. They include Heads of Department and Examiners, who can nurture your daughter's intellectual curiosity and extend her reach . All our tutors hold enhanced DBS checks and have a proven track record of helping high-achieving students like your daughter reach their full potential.

We offer tailored support in both maths and English to provide the stretch and challenge she needs beyond the standard curriculum. Feel free to reach out if you’d like more details—we’d love to help! We are a local agency based in Clapham.

Recommendation for a KS3 tutor

by clapham222 » Mon Feb 10, 2025 10:05 am

Morning folks - wondering if anybody has a recommendation for a KS3 tutor?

Daughter is in the state sector, Y7, and not getting stretch at school. The school doesn't really do any homework, nor is there much in-class stretch either (having already engaged the school on it for a few weeks to see what is do-able). She's 95%+ percentile for maths and English (as assessed by secondary).

Moving to another school a possibility, but would rather explore other options first. All suggestions welcome!
