We looked at Balham Day Nursery (part of Asquith's) last summer when our son was 6 months old. As it turned out, we didn't need nursery care in the end, so didn't use them, but they called me quite frequently (had another call yesterday) so I think they might have places available.

Though as we haven't used them, can't give personal recommendation

My little girl is at Starlings and Caroline and Clare can be contacted on 02086734967. I am really happy with it although I am not sure that they take them at the age of 1? Call them and check. Another excellent nursery (although from 2.5) is Gateway House - 0208673 4055.

Hope this helps.

Can anyone recommend a nursery for my one yr old boy in SW12? We're on the long waiting list for Second Steps nursery and Eveline apparently has a waiting list as well. Im looking for 3 mornings a week and i know that some of them only offer full days. Also, does anyone have any info about Starlings... contact no etc... ive looked on the web but cant find anything.
Thanks for your help.
