Having read a few mixed reviews about The Bowler, I wasn't sure what we were going to think when we booked a table there with our two children early on Friday evening after a firework display. Overall though we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the live music too. The food was nicely presented and the children actually ate for once. Can't fault the service either. It had a relaxed, friendly and local feel about it, and really fills a gap in the market. The toilets were a real hit too!!

Hope it does well - we shall certainly be returning.
