Two of the biggest attractions of Emanuel for SW parents have always been the location - on Wandsworth Common – and size: just 700 pupils, girls and boys (more of the latter). While it offers the kind of facilities you would expect from a smaller independent school, its academic record is still lacking. But if results are not as important to you or your child as the arts and sports, then Emanuel should probably be given serious consideration. Entrance is by exam and interview, with lots of scholarships and bursaries on offer. Ages 10-18.
