We are a family of 4 (2 daughters ages 7 and 5) looking for a fun, outgoing and dynamic nanny with a positive can-do attitude to join our family from end Jan/early Feb. The girls attend the same school which is walking distance from our house near Battersea Park. The core hours are before school (7....

Re: Social life after divorce?

I'm really sorry to hear you are feeling like this but it sounds like that the week-ends you don't have your children you need to try something new for yourself and this will give you the opportunity to meet some people in a completely different social setting to the school playground - which I find...

Re: Can anyone recommend a good Professional Organiser & Declutterer please?

Hi Veronica, what type of things do you do? Sounds ridiculous but my two daughters clothes have got out of control and I need some help sizing, sorting and recycling!

Re: Help - I've never hosted a dinner party!

I love cooking too but the reality is I never really have time to do much and it is better to catch up with friends properly rather than worry about the food. Antipasti (m&s have good selection) is a super simple starter/snack to have with drinks or baked camembert (make sure you have the one in...

Health club for all the family

Am looking for a health club with swimming pool and ideally access to tennis courts that we can join as a family. The Harbour club would be ideal but put off by the fees. Have investigated Purple Dragon but was even more alarmed by their membership charges!

Hi Paula, I don't work for an agency but can I suggest you contact Capability Jane for a chat. Looking at their website I can see that they have 3 PT HR roles available you might be interested in. Good luck!

Re: Caribbean November holiday for family with 2 toddlers

We've been to Verandah in Antigua twice as looked at Carlisle Bay but was a little alarmed by expense. It is a lovely resort with two private beaches, pool is large but deep with no shallow area for toddlers or babies but we are beach people so worked out ok for us. Accommodation is little bungalows...

Re: Would you take a job if you knew you were pregnant with #2?

Agree with Abfab, you absolutely don't have a legal or moral obligation to disclose your physical status prior to receiving an offer of employment unless your role involves some sort of manual labour in which case there are accommodations that your employer would have to make to ensure that you coul...
