I have also had problems with the St Michaels playgroup. However, I stood my ground and sent my nanny with my two children. I had been going to the playgroup whilst on maternity leave and when I went back to work was told that nannies were not welcome. I pointed out that someone had to pay the bills...

I have had 3 children privately - I am not "too posh to push", I had all 3 without pain relief, naturally. I have never been to a spa. It is the best money I or my husband have ever spent and (apart from the obvious fact that a fourth baby would send me mad) I would absolutely do it again....
