Well, of course, you could walk...or go everywhere by Uber...but when you have children there is such a thing as convenience. Most stores with parking acknowledge this and the "must stay on premises" order from B&Q is not typical in my experience.

B&Q Parking

This is an ALERT for parents re car parking at B&Q Wandsworth. Watch out! The store has started enforcing a parking rule that insists you MUST stay on the premises for the duration of your parking. In other words, if you intend taking the children for a quick break from B&Q shopping to visit...

I was reading on another thread about a local stay at home dad, Jim McLean, who has used his time to write a novel (it's amazing, it's called How To Bring A Boyfriend Back From The Dead and you can get it in local bookshops and Waterstones as well as a kindle now on Amazon , I think.) Claire M - I've also read How To Bring A Boyfriend Back From The Dead, by your friend Jim McLean! It was quite an off beat romantic comedy, dark but funny. I'd recommend it as a Valentine's Day book.
