Dad's Football?

Hello, I was wondering if any of you knew of any good fun local adult football teams/leagues or Dad teams? My husband who's always been a keen footballer would love to get involved in something locally (between the Commons) but I was wondering if there was anything for enthusiastic Dads rather than ...

Re: Sitters.co.uk

Have used them before when our normal babysitter couldn't do it - and they've always been very reliable. Only issue we've had with them is that we have a small dog, and they have sent us babysitters on various occasions who were terrified of dogs (virtually had to coax them into the house) and then ...

Re: Bespoke bathroom cabinet maker..

Just re-doing our bathroom now and all the quotes for cabinets/vanity units were so expensive. Have a look at Neptune - google them, they do kitchens and bathroom furniture, and while it wasn't cheap, it was cheaper than bespoke option....

You can do this one with strawberries instead of raspberries - it's always a winner!

Re: Any children starting Eaton Manor nursery in Jan 2013?

My little one doesn't start until April, but my son was there himself (now in the big boys school!) Don't fret, you'll be invited to the Arts and Crafts weekly sessions at some point next term where you'll get to meet all the other little ones starting in the same class and there mummies/carers plus...

Re: Carpet Cleaner

Hi,

I use Gary Bristow from Bristow clean (he's based in Surrey but is happy to come to Wandsworth/Clapham - does lots of work in fulham too).

His number is 07949 084 693 - he did a great job on our carpets, and even took some rugs to be separately dry cleaned.....

Re: To those lovely people that stole my window boxes....

Did any of you ever hear back from the police about your stolen boxes/trees.... I still haven't heard anything, although I reported it at the time, so not sure whether to call them, or assume it might not be the same bloke!

Our fantastic nanny/housekeeper available 2 days p/w

Our brilliant Filipina Nanny/Housekeeper is looking for work 2 days per week. She's worked for us a few days per week for the last 12 months and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She helps with (and has sole charge of) our 5 year old and 21 month old, both of whom adore her, and our house has be...

Electric oven repair - recommendations?

We have a Zanussi built-in double oven that doesn't seem to reach the correct temperature. I have since invested in 2 decent oven thermometers and neither make the same reading however they do read between 30-50 degrees under what the oven claims it's temperature to be! Is there anyone that any of y...

Re: Anyone seen any fuel today (Tues)?!

Thanks all - I managed to get some at Clapham South (next to Tesco) but the queue was really building up behind me and not all the pumps were in action so I don't think they had a huge supply. Clapham Common was still shut as I drove past.....

Anyone seen any fuel today (Tues)?!

We are driving off for Easter later this week, and needing to fill-up with diesel! We've had fruitless missions over the last few days, and yesterday evening our local(ish) petrol stations at Clapham Common/Clapham South were still empty. Rather than drive around aimlessly burning more fuel to find ...
