Needed - new gas hob fitted

We have an old gas hob that needs removing, and a new one fitted (identical in size etc.) I've been quoted £370+vat to have it done which seems madly steep to me. Anyone have any recommendations of someone who may be able to do this?

Neglectful nanny - please read

I wasn't sure whether to post this or not but I felt I ought to do something. Yesterday afternoon at about 2:50 I was driving down Grandison Road towards the Common, driving particularly slowly as I approached the bend partly due to building works going on there and partly because many cars come zoo...

Food wise try Belga Queen, l'Idiot du village, or Sea Grill!

Re: Dental Implants

I used the Harley St Implant Centre last year, when my dentist said I would need an implant to replace a broken crown. They suggested that I didn't need an implant but they could replace and re-work my crown (bug cost saving again, and quicker.) I am not good with dentists but they were very good, a...

Re: Eaton House Belgravia

Not sure about Belgravia, but my son attends Eaton House the manor, and they don't prepare them for 7+. My son is very happy there, and while it seems to be academically robust, baring in mind it's a non-selective school, I don't feel that it is as "pushy" as perhaps selective schools. Tha...

Cash for clothes - by weight Colliers Wood

Was it my imagination or did I see a cash for clothes (done by weight) last time I was at Tandem Centre in Colliers Wood?! Have an enormous pile of old towels etc that I'd like to get rid of, but would rather make a few pounds if possible!

Can anyone recommend their cleaner?

Can anyone recommend their cleaner who might have some hours spare?! We are a family of 4 looking for a new cleaner between the Commons. Ideally looking for someone to come twice a week for a total of 8 hours, which would include laundry and ironing, and who is ok with cats!
