Re: Tana Ramsay opening a salon on Northcote rd.. WOW

Hi Ladies, Read an article in the paper yesterday that reminded me of this post a few months ago. http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2011/10/02/gordon-ramsay-and-wife-tana-open-a-beauty-salon-115875-23459717/ Looks like she is definitely opening a salon but exact location isn't stated, although it ...

A good home for nappies in SW11

Hi All, I have got 125 Huggies Organic size 3 nappies that I no longer need (we bought in bulk then baby grew too fast!). I have tried to contact some local baby charities that may need these but seeing as I don't drive and they are pretty heavy I need to find one that'll either collect them from my...

Re: First night out after baby!!

Lola Roja is amazing , best tapas I've ever had (including in Spain!). not much dairy either, mainly tomato based sauces etc.

Re: Best Maternity Jeans?

Asos do lovely maternity jeans and jeggings. I got an indigo pair and a white pair and they were gorgeous, really nice and skinny on the legs whilst roomy on waist !x

Re: mirena coil - is it "shocking"?

I had one put in a few months ago and didn't even feel it. It was similar to having a smeer. I did take Cuprofen painkillers just before I went as advised by the doctor.
Totally recommend getting one but it does sound like a small percentage of women can have bad experience so its a small gamble.

Dubai with a baby

Hi Ladies, Has anyone been to Dubai with their little ones? Thinking of booking Atlantis on the Palm as it looks like a really family friendly hotel with lots to do so we don't have to travel around much. Basically want somewhere that we can have choice of restaurants/activities etc very close by. M...

Has anyone had Laser teeth whitening?

Hi Ladies, I'm thinking about getting my teeth professionally whitened. Been researching and most dentists offer either laser or the type where you use a gum shield at home. Laser seems to be a bit more expensive so I think it probably works better? Has anyone had it done? Where did you get it done ...

Anyone on Twitter?

Hi all, just started on Twitter yesterday and wondering if any of you lovely like minded mum's were on it too? Would like to start Tweeting properly etc but seems rather pointless when no one is following me and I don't know many people on it to follow (other than businesses, celebs etc). If your'e ...

Re: Antenatal Care SW11? Really need advice for first timer

I just want to second what a few people have said and recommend Battersea Rise GP practice. Dr Bass and Dr Williams are without a doubt the 2 friendliest and loveliest doctors I have ever gone too. The nurse who does the baby vaccinations is also lovely and makes my baby smile and giggle which defin...

Re: Where to shape your eyebrows?

Glow in Debenhams at Clapham Junction is amazing (near the make up counters). they thread your eyebrows and tint them if you need it too. No apptment necessary either, I highly recommend them.
