Re: Entertaining 3x 15 year old girls in London

When my 14 year old cousin came to stay I booked her a makeover at MAC in Selfridges, it was £25 and she could redeem the money on products. She loved it! Also Nails Inc do manicures for around £10 which I am sure they would like. Afterwards we did Topshop, a trip on the boat on the Thames ( just a ...

Your opinions please!!..

Hi NV net mums! I would really appreciate our thoughts/ opinions on this... I had baby no2 in May and decided to buy a Bugaboo Donkey with my ever dwindling cash as I spend a lot of time pacing the streets of Clapham! Since then I've had 3 faulty tyres (a recognised fault in Donkeys) which after wro...

Re: Nanny watch!

I asked her 'are you responsible for this child?' and she said 'yes, I'm his nanny'. I could have picked that boy up, put him in my pram, told him we were going to find his nanny and abducted him. Fact. Alone or not being watched, same thing. I am not starting a nanny witch hunt, I had an amazing na...

Re: Nanny watch!

Absolutely, I think the recent case of April Jones makes my initial post more relevant. Clapham is a beautiful, family friendly area which can lull you into a false sense of security, this is London, one of the worlds most densely populated cities and you cannot afford let your children out of your ...

Nanny watch!

Dear mums, I am writing this post as I feel it is my duty after what I saw today. I was in the park by the Windmill pub on Clapham common today. I was standing near to my daughter as she climbed the toddler climbing frame. I stopped her as she came face to face with a little boy on the rope bridge w...

Re: Not invited to her best friend's party

I am absolutely shocked by the behaviour of the birthday girl and more importantly the mother of the birthday girl! If this happened to me, and I was approached by the mother of an upset little girl who felt they had been excluded from a party I was organising, I would apologise and immediately invi...

Re: Cheeky champs - with cake!

Ohhh yes... I have tried the Cheeky Champs Friday Fun club and it is absolutely brilliant! My little daughter was in awe of Lucy and all the babies/ toddlers seem to warm to her quickly and get involved without any shyness. I don't know where she gets her energy! It is very reasonably priced for a h...

Nanny required! SW11

I need a nanny to look after my 6 month old baby girl in my home whilst I work for 1.5 days a week starting in June 2011. I can be flexible with the day's but the full day can't be a Friday and the days can't be consecutive. Ideally I need a full day on Monday and half day on Wednesday or vice versa.
