Re: Have you lost weight and kept it off? Pls share how!

Hello, In the past, I have done low carb diets, which I think are good at getting the weight off. It is hard as carbs are the nicest foods, but if you can stop eating bread, pasta, rice, potatoes and sugary foods it will work wonders. The first seven days are tough, but if you can get through that, ...

Re: Blue Lemonade ??

Hello,

If you go to any small ethnic shop, you should be able to find kool aid. It is just a sugary powder, that you mix with water. If you're lucky, your nearest large supermarket may stock it in the 'world food' aisle

Good luck!

Re: Business trip - not ready to be away!

When my daughter was 10 months old, I left her with my family for one week, while I went on a selfish holiday with my friend for her 30th birthday. I was absolutely petrified, mainly because I thought she would not cope without me and would be so miserable for those looking after her. In the end, sh...

Hello all, My daughter will be leaving her nursery next week, after starting there at 10 months, over two and a half years ago. I have loved the place and am only leaving as we are moving. Re: Venues Bday party 3 year old

Hello,

I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party at Gambado in Imperial Wharf. I cannot rate it highly enough. It is not cheap, but the children have the freedom to run around and play safely, and seemed to really enjoy it

Nursery schools vs private nurseries

Hello all, Just wanted some advice on childcare options please. My daughter currently goes to a full time private nursery but I recently found out that I could apply for a nursery school place for her to start in September 2014. Obviously there is a massive cost difference, but I wonder whether the ...

Which charity shops take toys

Hi all,

I have a baby walker and small peppa pig kitchen which I want to give away. I was just wondering which charity shops on St Johns Road or Northcote Road take toys, or do they all?

Many thanks

Re: Bridge lane nursery... Up to date views?

My daughter has been at bridge lane since last year May, when she was nine months old. I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff there. My daughter absolutely loves them, and I find them to be equally warm towards her. Maybe we have been lucky, but I have had no incidences or accidents h...
