My LO is just over 2 and is not good for the first five minutes into a hair cut, but the hairdressers there are excellent, distract with books and the beautiful fish. My LO also enjoys the chocolate coins aftwerwards. They cut really well and don't cut all hi...

Re: Cap to bankers salary

This has been put forward by the EU and will need to be ratified first. Although the current government has stated it is against such a policy, if voted in then banks in the UK which are authorised by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) will need to implement the policy. Re: Day care nursery recommendations in SW11 or Nanny share?

Hi Amyfordo, My LO is at Bridge Lane but we did start him at a different nursery (7 months) and then moved him to Bridge Lane after about 4 months. We haven't regretted it either from a nursery perspective or in relation to his age - he absolutely loves it! Thus if they have availability from Octobe...

Re: Short term accommodation needed

Hi Cool Clapham. You could try www.spareroom.co.uk - you will need to select 'whole property' but again may have to utilise the 'break clause'. Another alternative is www.airbnb.co.uk. This is a worldwide site but there are properties around wandsworth as I've looked at these for when family have co...

Re: Christmas hamper delivery within Australia?

Have you tried David Jones' website: http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/christmas/hampers ? They're sort of the equivalent of John Lewis in Australia so prices usually quite reasonably, and quality of hampers very well respected. They're also in all the major cities. Hope that helps! :)

We're thinking of a few days in Havana e.g. 2 or 3 days, and then about a week e.g. 7 days, in a resort. Our LO will be just 2 at that time so idea...

Re: Deaths in Nappy Valley

Having seen this article in the news today I was absolutely shocked, this is just so so sad for all involved and my heart goes out for both parents. I still don't think people realise how "full on" and emotional being a mum really is plus if you are new to an area it can be additionally is...
