Re: Aldi or Lidl?

I go to Aldi to buy their own brand nappies and gin - I must look like Mother of The Year ;-). I agree that Lidl doesn't have a nice feel to it but Aldi seems better and does great cut flowers and a few bits from there help reduce the cost of the big weekly shop. Give it a go!

Re: Etiquette of buying presents for new born twins

Was about to post almost exactly the same as twinmum! Jellycat do great toys that you can get two toys the same size but different or other lovely gifts we were given included books, two titles by the same author for example. Really cute hooded bath towels was another popular present - you get given...

Re: Best stretch mark cream?

I used cheap, Palmers Cocoa Butter stretch mark lotion everyday during pregnancy and for a wee while after the birth of my twins and don't have any stretch marks. I swear by the stuff!

Re: Zumba Fitness MONDAYS @ 19.30 - BALHAM / CLAPHAM SOUTH

I've been going to this class too. It is superb and great fun! Mel is a fab teacher, it's easy to follow, you really feel like you're dancing and having fun rather than just working out. It's a proper full body workout too, just what my post-twins body needs! I wish I could go every day! :D

Re: Anyone had a c-section at St.George's???

I had an elective caesarean at St G's in April this year and the surgery was excellent. The anaesthetist explained everything in just the right amount of detail and the scar is very neat. I was up walking again the next day. So that side of things was superb. My experience on Gwillim ward was less g...

Twins at St George's

Has anyone had twins at St George's and do they have any advice? I've only had one brief appointment there so far and everything seems fine but I have a few unanswered questions. The midwife I met only works part-time, will I only see her or will I see other members of the 'twins team' also? Am I li...
