I cant believe you haven't been inundated with responses.. one thing is for sure I wouldn't use, Battersea Handyman.. £400 a day.. in this current climate.. I have used an honest and fair chap.. 28yrs experience.. he has just finished insulating my roof, and then painted the bathroom.. I am thrilled...

OMG, that sounds an awful lot of money, My builder just finished some work at my Nana's house.. I should hush up as I don't know how big your wall is, my builder has competitive rates, which reflect the current market and environment.. I'll pop his details down wont do any harm to give him a whorl.....

Hi Last week I had some work finished by an excellent general builder, decorator ,he has a sensitive approach to his work.. and gosh how he cleaned up after himself.. so often they leave the place untidy with rubbish lying around, and his rates were competitive which is bonus in the current environm...
