Sure someone will suggest something but you could ask in the sewing/ craft shop on Balham high road- they know everything there is to know about sewing and I'm sure they'll know local seamstresses. Good luck!

Might sound ridiculous but Argos in Balham- they are always lovely, happy to help and polite. Really like it, and the fact that you can pay and sit down while your item is brought to you (or near you, I can cope with walking to a counter!) is inspired!

We were lucky enough to get tickets for some athletics at Olympics in main stadium (no medals). We bought tickets for both children even though one was not born yet! There just didn't seem to be a way round it! Absolutely crazy and won't tell you how much we spent- figured it was a once in a lifetim...

Am currently dieting and using a brilliant app- myfitnesspal. It makes calorie counting really easy and tracks your success. Here is a whole online community also (I'm not using that bit but if you need the extra motivation it can help). Not come across the janeplan. Just thought I would share!
