Re: Help! How do I occupy my 18 mth old on a nine hr flight?

I would recommend wrapping some of the items up as amuses them opening them and takes a little longer. I also took along a picnic my son was not provided with any food and it kept him busy for a while. Also worth asking at check in if there are any spare seats to give you a bit of space.

Re: Clapham Junction Lifts

Hi
I used the lifts from the platform to the bridge last week and it makes such a difference. The only lift not working was to platform 11 I think (earls field/Hampton court line. The main entrance was not yet open but looked nearly there.

Re: Why 10 month old waking so early!

My son who is now 20 months was doing almost exactly the same. I tried everything - bed later, more food, blackout blinds and no matter what he still woke up at 5.30/6.00 each day. At 10 months he was having two sleeps 9.30 and then at 1.30 for a total of about 4 hours. My solution was to put some t...

Re: Help! Family holiday needed!

We went to the mazagan resort in morocco. It is very kid friendly. Has a. Baby club and a toddler one as well. Childcare was free during the day - you could put them in for as long as you wanted. Re: Not sure about St George's...

Hi
I was booked into the Carmen suite at St Georges but when we arrived 2am on a Sunday morning it was closed due to lack of staff. I had no choice but to go into a normal delivery suite but one of the Carmen midwives looked after me. In the end I was thankful I was I there as needed an epidural!

Should I put my son into a nursery to help his development?

I am thinking of putting my son into a nursery two mornings a week when he is about 2 but am unsure if this is the best thing for him. I do not work so can look after him but feel he needs a little more time with other children and also to get use to playing without me there. I do take him to a coup...

Re: Whats the best solid eating gear for baby and floor??

I use a bibette all in one bib with sleeves that does up down the back and covers most of my 10 month old. I then have a plastic mat under the chair - you can get disposable ones from mothercare (very useful to taking to other peoples houses). I give him his own bowl and spoon to try and distract hi...

Messy Play

Does anyone know anywhere that does messy play near to Earlsfield. I am happy to do some at home but it is far more fun to do with other children and I think my ideas maybe a bit limited.

School entrance age

I am trying to register my son for primary school but getting totally confused when this should be. He was born on the 14th September, so if they school starts at 5 does he start in 2014 when he is nearly 6 or 2013 when he is only 4?
