Re: this is why we send our children private

Private schools

Saying sorry generally means you won't do something again. So why do you continue to post inflammatory articles?

Is this what you teach in private schools?

Re: this is why we send our children private

Child's happiness does matter first and foremost! I couldn't and wouldn't put my child into a school that was academically fantastic, if my child wasn't academically fan and would struggle. As I've said before, I have no issue with where people send their kids to school, and yes, I've already had ki...

Re: this is why we send our children private

Mixed bg in both to be fair. Suicide, bankruptcy, divorce and jail terms also exist for ex private school people.

As a prevus post says, it is YOU and you alone who will guide your child through. School has benefits (either state or private) but you have to help your child make the most of them.

Re: this is why we send our children private

I actually didn't feel attacked, I was just trying to make the point that Megan put so much eloquently than I could! Putting up such a sensational sweeping state, emt, backed up from an article from an equally sensational statement making paper is rather foolhardy. I think a wedge is already driven b...

Re: this is why we send our children private

Everyone has the right to make whatever decision they want for their children's education. I certainly have made decisions to make my children happy and be safeguarded as oppose to my moral principals. However, the fundamental problem with this post was the attacking of a system which many people us...

Re: this is why we send our children private

Horrified by the initial post and the follow up justification of why this was posted. No wonder there are such issues in this country when people walk around with views like this. In my mind, this initial post is a bullying - she may as well have said a spit on anyone who doesn't have my wealth to g...
