Re: Dog mess in Dundonald Road

Thanks for this post. We have a similar problem on the next road to us which is basically the main thoroughfare into Balham and is regularly covered in dog mess, quite obviously from the same dog day after day. I have downloaded the app you mentioned and I think it's a fantastic idea. surely if the ...

Re: Hypnobirthing

I saw Hannah for a couple of one on one sessions as a kind of refresher as I was having baby no.2. I didn't see the need to do the course again but I wanted to get prepared again. Hannah is lovely and Hypnobirthing is amazing. Very very much recommend it, I had a very medicalised induced labour with...

Mamas and Papas Regulair 300 Cot mattress

This was only used for 4 months as we had to change our cot to a different size. Pet and smoke free home. It's in great nick and seems a shame for it to end up on landfill. Advice is always buy a new mattress, but someone may have use of it, hence it's free to a good home

New Zumba class at The Bedford Mondays at 9.30am!

A shout out for the fabulous Ashley for giving in to my nagging and setting up a new class during the day. It's at 9.30am so fits in perfectly with school drop off!

It's the most fun ever and a virtuous start to the week. I highly recommend it!

Re: Telferscot Primary School to be 2 form intake from now o

CeliaBalham thanks for the information about TAG and that's marvelous news about the councils decision. I'll PM you later as I'd like to see if there's something I can get involved in. Don't think I'll read this thread anymore as I'm finding the accusations of being selfish and ungrateful a bit upse...

Re: Telferscot Primary School to be 2 form intake from now o

Thank you for that report balhamite, very interesting and somewhat reassuring reading. Anyway, I'm going to try and speak to the school again, no luck with the council so far but I now have some names to try and contact. It would be amazing if Lambeth can secure that land next door, if they can pers...

Re: Telferscot Primary School to be 2 form intake from now o

No actually, you haven't read this right. My complaint is that we weren't given the information about the change to a two form entry school (which means an extra class EVERY year not just a one off which is what a bulge class is meant to be). We specifically asked about this and were not given the i...

No, unfortunately I believe the land has been sold to developers who want to build more flats.

Telferscot Primary School to be 2 form intake from now on!

I have just had what I thought was just inaccurate speculation from a couple of different sources confirmed by the school themselves. Our son received an offer of a place at Telferscot for reception this September, I was over the moon although somewhat surprised (pleasantly of course) as we lived ju...

Brilliant Personal Trainer and Zumba Teacher

Just had to rave about Ashley Green (not the actress for Twighlight by the way). He teaches the most fun Zumba class at The Bedford in Balham on Saturday morning and Mon and Wed eve, i come out grinning from ear to ear. And he also does personal training sessions at a reasonable rate. More important...
