Soft Toy Donation!

Does anyone know where I can donate several bags of good quality "lightly used" children's teddies and soft toys?    My kids are having a clear out as they are literally taking over our house!  I know lots of places don't take them due to hygiene reasons but it seems such a terrible waste ...

Re: Activities for the children over Summer

Hello - my daughter is at Streatham and Clapham and loves it - it’s a great school with a down to Earth approach. For the boys there are 4 great primary school options close by - all state - Henry Cavendish, Telfescot and in Balham there is Rutherford House (which my kids went to and loved) and Rave...

Re: Tooting Common - if you want to stop the new football facility at Tooting Triangle - deadline 14 Dec

I think its an important community issue and thanks for raising.  I'm all for that area being improved and wow a cafe - albeit a very small one - who doesn't want that !  But there are some details that seem to be lacking.  For example who and how often will we, the general public (and local school...

Re: Experience of good areas to move to in Surrey/Hampshire and prep schools nearby?

Question also about The Royal in Hindhead (Senior school not Junior).  Does anyone who has moved out have any knowledge/opinion of this school please?

And also curious where do your kids typically go on to from the prep schools mentioned above?

thank you!

Needed - after school nanny Balham

Hi - we're a Balham family looking for an after school nanny 2 days a week.  My kids are 8 and 9 so open to considering a responsible adult/student who lives in the area.  They are really self sufficient and simply need an adult to walk them home and make them something to eat!   They finish school ...
