Playgroup/playground etiquette

Hi all, My daughter is 16 months old and so I feel I am quite new to the unwritten rules (if any) at various playgroups and playgrounds in the area. What do you do if you child gets hurt by another child ( not accidentally). By way of an example, my daughter was pushed over ( down a ramp and into a ...

Re: Proper lingerie shop ?

I would also highly recommend the shop on webbs road called Amelie's follies. It is quite a small shop but they stock a huge range of underwear. The lady who runs it is brilliant. Really good fitting and I walked out with several sets. I often find that the bigger stores in town have inexperienced s...

Re: Italy in spring! Where would you go?

Having just come back from venice ( went just with my partner and left my one yr old daughter with my parents) I would say avoid. Absolutely amazing place but not pushchair friendly at all as there are lots of steps to get on the bridges over the canals and can get very busy. And of cause there is w...

Dog Fouling

Is it just me or has dog fouling on the pavements got worse? I live near Wandsworth Common westside and despite being very careful I have had to clean the wheels of my buggy for the second day in a row. And I am continually dodging dog mess when out pushing the buggy. It is just so disgusting!!! I h...

Wee ones nursery

Hi everyone, Does anyone know what the story is with Wee Ones nursery? There is a planning application in progress to change the building into flats. I have just registered my daughter there and haven't been told anything by the nursery. Have I got it wrong or is there something I haven't been told?...

Re: Clinic for Newborn Son Circumcision Needed

I am amazed that this practice is still legal in this country. It is just staggering that some believe that it is necessary for hygiene reasons - why not just teach good hygiene? As for the religious reasons..... Poor little boys. It shocks me what goes on in this world sometimes.

Re: BIRDHOUSE - WORST customer care I have EVER experienced

There are always two sides to the story but it is interesting to hear from fellow mums in the area of establishments that are not child friendly so that they can be avoided. I want to go places with my young daughter where I feel welcomed (and there are many many lovely coffee shops that welcome fam...
