Number of nurseries to register

Hi all
My son will be 1yr next May and we have registered him at 2 nurseries in Tooting so far in the hope of getting a place at one of them in April. Is two enough or should we be signing up for more? If so, are there any you would recommend? Thank you!

Virgin Active Colliers Wood / Wimbldeon North Creche

Hi does anyone know what the crèche is like at Virgin Colliers Wood? Or Virgin Wimbledon North Rd? I'm desperate for a swim and to use the gym a couple of times a week & wondering what it's like there. Bit nervous leaving my 5mo there, has anyone done this or is it too young? Thanks in advance! ...

Re: Good baby swimming pools / classes

Thanks so much all. We took him to Wimbledon North Rd Virgin Active yesterday as discovered they have a specific baby & kids pool which was 32 degrees. Fun as a one off but for lessons it is a choice between Wandsworth & Trinity. Also, my husband feels 8/9 weeks is too young for lessons, wha...

Good baby swimming pools / classes

Hi there Does anyone know of any good pools for baby swimming classes or just good to take an 8 week old baby for the first time? We know they should be 32 degrees or more and were going to take baby today but unfortunately our local pool is only 29 degrees. Do any of the Virgin Active gyms in the a...

Re: Sad after stopping Breastfeeding, need support/to share

Thank you so much, that is very interesting reading! It is hard and I know will always be tough when other mothers are feeding around me, but I know I have done the right thing. He got 7 weeks of breast milk in total and I am so grateful that he takes a bottle at all as I know that can cause further...

Re: Sad after stopping Breastfeeding, need support/to share

Thank you all so much for your kind replies, this really has made me feel so much better. I have just spent the afternoon with my NCT friends who were amazing and some of them are also topping up etc at the moment and really listened when I shared my woes. Our NCT leader was there and, despite their...

Re: Sad after stopping Breastfeeding, need support/to share

Thank you all so much, it really makes me feel better knowing I am not the only one! Such kind messages of encouragement really mean a lot to me. I was formula fed too and think my Mum is the best in the world, and I've done OK for myself! I will focus on my gorgeous little one and not let this over...

Re: Sad after stopping Breastfeeding, need support/to share

Thank you all so much for the replies so far, it really does make me feel so much better to know other people have been there and I am not crazy for feeling this sense of I guess what you would call Breastfeeding grief! I feel like making the decision to stop is half the battle and my hormones are p...

Sad after stopping Breastfeeding, need support/to share

Hi there Firstly please could I ask that no-one responds to this post by putting added pressure on me regarding breastfeeding. I am already very emotional and sad about the whole situation and need support or to speak to people in a similar boat rather than be criticised for what I feel was not a de...
