I ve been away from the area since August and have seen posts about new things on Northcote.

I ve just seen that Fields (the cafe next to the skate park) has closed as Lambeth Council were putting the rent up by 115%. Ridiculous and really sad. That place used to get so busy and we would go most weekends. If a busy cafe like Fields cannot afford the rent then I'm not sure who would be able ...

Ah yes its Neil Williams - thanks for that. I really want to get one of his bandstand prints. But also I want to get a few postcard sized pictures to go in small frames in the bathroom. Anyone know where I might get postcards or even greeting cards? I suppose there would be stalls and souvenir shops...

new stay and play in Clapham Junction - on Battersea rise

I just went to a new stay and play in the new Fresh Ground cafe which is pretty much at the junction on northcote road and Battersea rise - a lovely cafe with plenty of space. Stay and play is Monday, Wednesday, Friday - this week they are having free sessions. September the will start and afternoon...
