I also feel that private schools kids have so much pressure put on them at an early age to constantly achieve good grades at the 7+, 11+ gcse and a levels . ( to secure scholarships etc) That when they get to university they simply want to have a good time and rebel a little. And not study so hard. ...

You can look at Royal Russell , close to Croydon.

I think you still need to sit a 11+ plus exam
But it used to be a non pushy academic school , and wasn’t so difficult to get into . Im unsure if this is the case. It has lovely grounds and is also a boarding school too ( also be a day pupil)

My daughter when she was older baby used to be terrible and keeping calpol down. She would always throw it up. So instead I brought her suppository. You can buy them from some pharmacies , they are more expensive than the usual paracetamol brand, but they work instantly

I understand your concerns. All children are different and have different metabolic rates. Could your child drink a cartoon of milk. This is fulfilling and is good for growing kids
