*Cleaner recommendations*

Sorry - I know this comes up soooo often. But I have tried to find a cleaner for a while now through agencies, neighbours, friends and next door, alas with no luck. Therefore, am reaching out here on our lovely, local Nappy Valley! We are able to pay £12-13 pr hour. The salary would then go up as ex...

Wellness for teens

I'd like to hear whether anyone could recommend tried and tested wellness therapies with their teen daughters and teen sons? Both of my teen kids have mild special needs and I feel the most important thing to do is to keep their mental health strong above anything else and teach them how to look aft...

Re: ASD Friendship

I researched clubs for young provided by Wandsworth Council last night, but I'm not sure they would be right for him either. Great to see other parents looking for an alternative here. My son is 15 years old. His friends sadly live quite a distance away and it would just be nice to try meet other te...

Re: Appeal for Lost, Loved Bunny Teddy.

Gosh, I've not managed to get back on here till now. Thank you so much for your time and help. We were re-united with our bunny 2 months after loosing it in Kingston - we weren't sure whether we had lost it locally or near my son's school - turned out it was the latter. A lovely dad had picked it up...

Re: Looking for non-selective private secondary or prep

OMG - thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post and for all your suggestions. I haven't been back on here due to us all taking turns at being unwell and half term also got in the way. We did not go full steam on tutoring as some do, but did tutor where possible two hours per week fro...

Looking for non-selective private secondary or prep

Hi all. I hope you can offer tips and advise re this matter. My daughter has just sat her first exam ever at Emanuel for the 10+, and despite all efforts (at least an hour exam prep per day for 7 months prior and 1xhour tutor from Keystones twice per week) she didn't pass. She also applied for two s...

Appeal for Lost, Loved Bunny Teddy.

Dear All. My daughter's Bunny went missing Friday 23rd November (last week) - we think on St James's Drive - SW17 area - and desperately want to hear whether someone has seen it or has rescued it. The other place we may have lost Bunny is in Kingston KT2 area opposite Canbury School. We chose Bunny ...

Help with school-runs to Kingston needed from September

Hi. No better place to ask but here. From this September, I will have one child at a school in Chelsea (state school) and one in Kingston (special needs) - (LONG STORY!) - and no family etc to reach out to for help. I would love to have someone come help early morning (7am) to follow my son to Kings...

Re: Megan’s Balham - Worst, arrogant local restaurant experience

I'm surprised. Since arriving back from hols 2 weeks ago, I decided to try and have been back 3 times since. I don;t care too much about the service - it has been excellent, good, mediocre and arrogant - but the food, cocktails and coffees have not disappointed. Really excited to have a new place to...
