Hi there,  I gave up my professional career to be a stay at home mum. Besides all the identity issues, i want to share what we did with money.  Before I was pregnant, we earned the same. We just contributed equal amounts into the joint account. Easy. When i became pregnant and gave birth, my income ...

Re: Think my husband is being unfaithful for second time

Whenever i think about cheating husbands I think about Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Ozbourne. She stuck by him forever and is with him still. He probably doesn't cheat anymore (or can't haha). Is she happy? Was it worth it? Their recent interview showed that they supported each other through their excit...

Re: Permanently grumpy husband

I try and have sex with my husband when he is in that mood. Honestly, it works! Alongside all the other suggestions, this one gives instant results for us both. There is no quicker way to show appreciation, love, care and increase self esteem for a stressed primary financier. Cheaper than counsellin...

Re: Split of responsibilities with your partner

In our family, working at home carries the same weight as working away from the home. From 7 -7pm my husband goes to the office and is the main breadwinner. He generally owns taxes, insurance, passport applications and holidays. I am working in the house and do everything else - chores, laundry, pet...

Re: Tips for a new working mom

When I was back to work I invested in a slow cooker - pop a few things in the pot the night before and place in the fridge. In the morning, turn on the slow cooker and you will have a hot meal when you get home! I also used the timer on my oven- I put a chicken in there and then the oven would switc...

Re: Baby left in car with engine running?

I agree with petal. Calling the police on a fellow mum for an unharmed child was clearly ridiculous. She could’ve spoken to the mum instead of wasting time and creating drama.. and wasting taxpayers’ money. Of course if wasn’t right but please, what kind of judgmental and mean person are you? Let it...

Re: Baby left in car with engine running?

Would you have felt the same if the baby was left in a locked car with the engine turned off? Would you have felt the same way if someone left for their baby in a car seat in a house and left the room for 9 minutes (and went and cooked dinner?) Just asking to ascertain why you were so enraged. You c...

Travelling from Gatwick with micro scooter

Hi fellow parents, we are headed to Ireland for Christmas and my 2 yo son is bored of the pram and super talented at scooting. Have any of you managed to take a scooter on as carry on luggage? My scooter is old and doesn’t fold in half or come apart easily.
