Try the pookie poncho by 7am Enfant. It is an insulated carrier cover with a hood. Thin and warm layers on the inside and the cover over the carrier acts like a coat and shield all in one. I think you can even put your hands in to keep them warm.

I used it last winter but haven't been very impressed tbh. I now have the 7am Enfant B212. Its really warm. much better quality and has a hood.

Happy to sell the Bugaboo one onto you. its in good condition. a bit faded due to washing.

7AM Enfant have a lovely range. 1) The blanket 212 is extendable, universal for buggies adn very warm. 1) the pookie poncho can be attached to buggy, car seat or carrier. both great value considering how many options/ years use you can get.

Warm Footmuffs, Car Seat and Carrier Covers

I just thought I'd let those interested know that a great brand for the above are launching in the UK. 7AM Enfant are NY based and used to be sold at John Lewis but then disappeared for some reason. After trying to source the loveliest car seat cover that a friend had, see that they will launch here...
