Re: Cook - is it a good and healthy option for poor cooks?

I am a Cook customer too and love their food, but I have to say I was a little surprised at some of the ingredients. It's very much marketed as home cooked food (it's founding statement from 1997 on the packaging says "to COOK using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home, so ever...

Have you tried Lululemon? Their Fast & Free leggings aren't too thick but still offer support.

Re: First family ski trip

We have skied with Scott Dunn, Family Ski, and most recently Ski Scandinavia. With Norway, we were travelling with two kids plus a young toddler, and the 40min transfer from the airport (Scandinavian Mountains Resort > Trysil) was very appealing. They have a fantastic beginners area with lots of gre...

Re: What age should thumb sucking be discouraged?

@needcoffeenow unfortunately my third child wouldn't take a dummy as a baby so that wasn't an option for us.

I'm interested to hear other success stories if anyone has them!

Re: What age should thumb sucking be discouraged?

I'm in the same boat as my 3rd child sucks their thumb and gets a lot of comfort from it. I figured when he starts nursery in Sept, he'll be using his hands more and have less time for sucking. I have older twins who were both thumb suckers. At the age of 4, we heard about Thumbsies which are fabric...

Re: Cot to bed transition. How long to settle?

Hi, we moved our twins from cots to single beds at a similar age. We used bedrails both sides since they weren't up against a wall, and we turned the duvet sideways so we could tuck the ends in under the mattress each side to help them feel more snug & secure. There are special toddler bed sheet...

Re: Garden design/installation

Hi, we used Justin Greer to design our garden and come up with a planting plan. He was very professional, easy to deal with and managed the project for us. The actual work was carried out by Garden Gurus who did a good job too. http://www.justingreer.co.uk/ https://gardengurus.co.uk/ Hope that helps!

Re: sleeping with a snoring wife

Hi, you could also look at the Snoozeal device, which is a device you use during the day to strengthen the tongue and is the only non-invasive medical device approved by the FDA in the US for mild sleep apnoea.

Hope that helps.

Re: Virtual Baking Party

I have done online Zoom classes with:

She is very personable and has two young children who she does a lot of cooking with. I saw on her Instagram (@_chefsarah_) that she offers children's cooking classes so definitely worth reaching out and seeing what she can do.

Re: Norfolk summer holidays - any suggestions most welcome!

We used Barefoot Retreats last summer - they have some lovely properties along the Norfolk coast. We stayed in Old Hunstanton which has a lovely beach and not too crowded. They are a Norfolk specialist and will be able to advise you on the other quieter spots.

Re: New rules

I watched this the other day... does takes 37mins but very interesting and puts a lot of stuff into perspective... basically shows that Covid is very similar to seasonal flu in both death rates and seasonality all over the world, suggesting we won’t get a 2nd peak of deaths (over and above those who...
