Re: is anyone part of a proper carol singing group?

There is a group called the Treblemakers - they are an activity group of the KCWC and they carol for charity. I've seen them perform at a number of events. They are fantastic singers!

I think I would check in to see what the head was going to do regarding the swimming teacher, if the head follows through and disciplines the teacher then I would leave it; however, if nothing is done, I would report it to the council or social services. Thanks for your reply. As it happens, I had someone from the London Handy Team come today to fix the holes. We were really happy with the quality of work they did.

Broken zipper

Does anyone have the name of a good seamstress/tailor who can replace a heavy duty long zipper in a coat?

We've tried various cleaners in the area, but they don't replace long zippers.

We've used both Chatham Hall and It's a Kids Thing in Earlsfield. The advantage of It's a Kid's thing is that they do all the work for you. We have a window cleaner that does a lot of houses on our street - he comes by once a month with his ladder. He's really nice and will come through and do your back windows if you want.
