Re: Can you take a Phil & Teds buggy on an aeroplane?

We flew Easyjet to skiing in France last month and there was no problem taking our Phil & Teds right to the gate.

We actually purchased a travel bag to protect the buggy from damage. http://www.peppermint.co.uk/nursery_dep ... l-bag.html

I hope that helps. Have fun!

Re: travelling with bee

We took our Phil and Ted to France in all the snow recently, and even that was difficult to push even with three wheels and big ones at that, so I'm not sure any buggy is easy. I would say that the small wheels on a Bee are going to be pretty difficult. Perhaps you could borrow an off road buggy for...

Re: Child friendly cafes?

I'd recommend Dee Light bakery / cafe on Ritherdon Road. Great cakes, lunch and toys for the kids.

Re: Know any great wedding dress shops?

I chose mine from Pronovias (near Oxford Street) and the experience was great fun. Good range of prices from reasonable to bonkers. Plus a guaranteed glass of champagne - yippee!

Re: Bellevue Road Shops, Cafes, Bars etc

Hello, Well I can answer two of your questions! Crumpet on Bellevue has now shut. I'm not sure what it will become, but there is a thread on this subject alone: http://www.nappyvalleynet.com/is-crumpet-northcote-rd-closing-t15418.html I've eaten recently at the Althorp restaurant which is where The ...

Re: St Georges

I'm a very big fan. Both my boys were delivered at St George's - the first was long and got complicated, but they were brilliant, whizzed me to theatre for a successful delivery, the second was short and easy - in the amazing Carmen Suite (this is a set of delivery rooms with private bathrooms and h...

Re: Personal chef recommendation/cancer recovery

Every good wish for your recovery Julia. I don't know of a personal chef I'm afraid (I'm sure someone will!), but have you considered the delicious meals by Cook? http://www.cookfood.net/ They are so delicious and use ingredients you would find at home in your cupboard. Easy to prepare as you just b...

Re: Is Crumpet Northcote Rd closing?

I agree with the comments. It's a great shame it's closing as there really isn't anywhere like it with a decent play space for children, but I also recently found the tables, chairs and toys to be dirty, so it wasn't such a nice place to be. I'd be interested to hear from the owners of Crumpet. I th...

Re: Activities for 6 month olds in Wandsworth

Hi MumofOne When my first son was six months old I started taking him to swimming (at www.trinityhydrocentre.co.uk) and to Monkey Music. Although a bit pricey, they were such fun classes to go to for both of us, and we made some great friends. As a result, my two year old is pretty much swimming on ...

Re: Is Gina Ford's "Contented baby with toddler" worth it?

Hi Clapham Mum I'm a big fan of Gina Ford and used her original book for my first baby who is now 2 years old (he's an excellent sleeper and loves his routine). My new baby is 12 weeks old and to be honest, I haven't referred much to the 'Contented Baby with Toddler' book that I bought. Some of the ...
