Re: Work for stay at home mum

Hello Runningmum Just wondering if you had any luck with your search for evening work back in January? I noticed you didn't get replies, but did your searches lead you anywhere else? I'm looking for exactly the same sort of thing, so any ideas would be very gratefully received! If you have time.... ...

Re: New Dad confused by centile charts.....

Hello Alex First of all - Congratulations! Second of all - I think it's wonderful that you're taking the time to be concerned about all these things - your gf and new son are very lucky. Thirdly - I would say - Don't Worry!! It sounds as if you are both doing brilliantly. Breastfeeding is very hard ...

Front door - strip and repaint needed

Hi there

Does anyone have a recommendation for a tradesman who could refurbish a front door please? It'll need stripping down, sanding, re-painting etc.

It's a period door with stained glass, so quite fiddly I think. Then affix new door furniture etc.

Many thanks!

Re: Did you have a double buggy with a newborn and two year old?

Hi there My eldest was nearly two when I had our second baby (seven weeks ago) and I traded in our much loved single buggy for a Phil & Ted. Although the P&T took some getting used to, it's been a lifesaver as my eldest (despite being very, very busy!) is often tired after a morning out and ...

Also I just googled 'reflux support' and there are lots of support networks that might be a help to you. Such as http://www...

Re: Jeweller needed to resize and clean ring

I can add my recommendation to the others mentioning W&W. I was at university with one of the owners, Richard, and I can say that they offer the most wonderful, personal service at sensible prices. They helped my husband design my engagement ring which I adore, and supplied both of our wedding r...

Re: Finding a place to live

I live in Tooting Bec too, having lived previously 'between the Commons', in Balham and also in 'Bellevue Village' / Wandsworth Common. I would say that it all comes down to price and what you can afford to pay. It's a simple fact that there are nicer cafes and shops in the areas that I list above, ...
