Re: Downstairs toilets vs bigger kitchen

Agree with earlier reply. I wouldn’t delete a downstairs toilet. A toilet and basin can be quite space efficient if designed well. I think you might notice loss of downstairs loo more than you’d gain in kitchen space.

Re: Builders wanted for our Garden - very soon!

We were really impressed with www.2blueteam.co.uk who transformed our small front and back garden recently. Hardworking, punctual, friendly, great attention to detail, worked with our limited budget, nothing was too much trouble. They have a couple of team leaders, we dealt with Chip.

Please remember to lock your cars

We came home after a long bank holiday away and found our car glovebox etc had been searched by thieves. We don't keep anything in the car so they only left with a phone charger. No damage thankfully. We'll be double checking the car is locked from now on, others may wish to do same.

Seeking recommendations for temporary cleaner

Hi all,
We are looking for a temporary cleaner for a few weeks in May for standard cleaning in our home- near chestnut grove school, balham.
A couple of hours every Tuesday in May would be ideal.
Perhaps there you have a reliable cleaner who is looking for some extra hours?
Thanks

Boxes are often offered there, I got some myself. It’s also a very useful site if you need to declutter before your move.
Best of luck with the move.

Re: Which shutter company to choose?!

Hi, I haven't used the companies you mention, sorry. But I have used Affordable Shutters on 2 occasions. http://affordableshutters.co.uk/ I highly recommend them.
