Re: For sale - nursing chair in very good condition - best o

Hi Ladies I've uploaded two photos of the chair. It is in very good condition. Easy to remove fabric to clean. Slight discolouration on the footstool from use. There are side pockets for magazines and the back is adjustable. If someone is able to collect it on Wednesday or Thursday this week, they c...

Re: Recommendation for jeweller to re-set ring?

Try W&W on the corner of Webbs Road and Mallinson Rd. Lovely family-run jewelers. They have made rings for me and wedding rings for many friends.

Re: Which three days to work?

Hi, I agree with Kirsty75 and have a similar arrangement. My best advice would be to choose your off days to coincide with days that other mum friends have off, or when activities happen that you like to attend with your children. I chose Monday, Tuesday and Thursday originally to split the week up,...

Re: films suitable for an almost 2yr old girl?

Any Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh movies go down well with mine - and there are tons to choose from. Or Peppa Pig of course! The Gruffalo is cute but it can be frightening to some little ones.....

Re: To 4X4 drivers in Wandsworth

I'm not a big fan of range rovers either, but I'm not sure what the point of this OP is? It will only serve to wind people up. I dont think that any range rover drivers will read this and think 'hmmmm....actually I can't drive very well. I think I will chuck in my rover and buy a Polo instead' ........

Re: Toddler friendly hotels in UK

Hi Golfwidow Great username! I work in the hotel industry and would definitely recommend that you check out all of the hotels in the 'Luxury Family Hotels' collection. We have been to their Woolley Grange property near Bath and it was great - they got the 'luxury' and the 'child-friendly' parts just...

Re: Cookease - Children's Cookery Classes for 2-4 year olds

I'd highly recommend Cookease classes - they are amazing! My soon-to-be 3yr old loves it, and the ladies that run the class are great. The children do some cooking and learn about the food they are making, sing songs and activities and get to eat what they've made. I've seen my son try new foods and...

Re: Who can give me the skinny on the domes on Clapham Commo

The smaller domes next to the Windmill pub is the Colourscape Music Festival. Brilliant for toddlers if they like running around tunnels! It is running through next weekend http://www.londontown.com/LondonEvents/ ... val/65923/

Mum and baby fitness, Zumba, yoga?

Does anyone know of fitness classes that you can bring baby along to in Clapham or Balham? I have done buggyfit in the past, but tried to find a mum and baby Zumba or yoga class but the ones I knew of when I had my first son are no longer run. Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Re: Are you taking a baby to the Olympics?

Hi All - I spoke to the London 2012 tickets customer service team, and sometime in the Spring (you will get an email if you secured full priced tickets to any event) they will open sales for baby tickets which I think will be one pound and they will try to seat you together. The only issue is there ...

Re: How to get a 1 month old baby into the Gina Ford routine?

Everyone has definitely had different experiences, but I would just suggest to not worry yourself too much as your baby is still so young. For me, the Gina system started to really kick in around 3 months and has worked a treat since. I wasn't 100% strict with it, but just using it as a guide for sl...

Re: Accommodation wanted near Legoland

Hi There, I would definitely recommend staying right in Windsor if they're on a holiday. Legoland itself is building a hotel to open in April 2012, but until then I'd say the Macdonald Hotel or Harte and Garter are right in Windsor and get good reviews, or Oakley Court Hotel is a very nice country h...
