Re: how to tell a friend who has been trying for a baby for ages I am pregnant

Definitely think a text is the way to go. NO scan pictures.  It will be hard for her and if you send a message she is given time to muster the enthusiasm and happiness for you which I'm sure she will feel alongside her own sadness.  It's really really difficult for people, if she is not super positi...

Re: First pregnancy, completely overwhelmed

A friend of mine recently had an elective c section on the NHS. She has a history of (manageable but medicated) anxiety but more to the point had had around 5 miscarriages and a TFMR which required her to deliver at 16/17 weeks.  I think it was enough for the staff that this baby was beyond precious...

Re: Chez Bruce - non-family friendly

If you want a fancy meal, Trinity in the Old Town were previously very accommodating to us and our young baby (in pram, and even in sling in their Upstairs restaurant).

Re: Linden Tree Old Town

Thank you for your reply!  Unfortunately as a parent I will be doubting it until I have lots of good information to go on!  Are you able to give any more detail as to your connection to the nursery?  I'm particularly interested in hearing from other parents with children there or recently there.  Ma...

Linden Tree Old Town

Just wondering if any past or present parents with children at Linden Tree in Clapham Old Town had any thoughts they would share?

We are viewing it soon, but any help very welcome, particularly because it's still only possible to do a garden viewing :-/

Re: Botox

@anyone who has been to Dr McCarthy, could you confirm her pricing?  I have looked on her website but it seems to just be a holding page at present.  Any further info much appreciated! Thank you :)

Looking for a good joiner to do a front door

Please help!  Moving in to the Clapham area shortly and need to replace our Victorian front door. So far have approached the London Door Company who (eventually) disclosed their prices to me, and we certainly can't afford that! Recommendations very much appreciated!
