Re: Reckless driver in Stormont Road / Clapham Northside

Agree with @gemima. Contribute constructively Dicky D or maybe not at all? They aren't illegal and have every right to be on the road.

Re: NSL fly tipping fines on behalf of Wandsworth Council

@Dimelda, how rude! The rubbish was IN a recycling bag.

I don't think that one is expected to scribble out one's name and address on any rubbish before they put it in a recycling bag to dispose of it.

Brother has asked that we stand down on presents can I still buy them without causing offeence?

My brother suggested last month that we didn't buy presents this year, he has been quite hard hit for a number of reasons on top of the more widespread ones. We are more comfortable and I know that my presents are quite spoiling and I don't want my nephew and niece to miss out when things in general...

Re: Husband constantly looking for the next big job, very frustrating

If you don't mind me saying it sounds a little like he could do with some support from you. Maybe get him a career coach so he can work out what it is that he wants. His jumping may well come from a place of feeling inadequate? It is hard when one sees peers striving ahead. Really don't wish to judg...

Underfloor heating

Wondering if this is enough alone for a kitchen, standard victorian terrace with a side return or of you need radiators as well. Additionally, would it best to go for plumbed heating or electric? Thanks!

We have these from Sophie Conran. Purchased in John Lewis

Could highly recommend for versatility, not heavy and have had some lovely comments when we have had friends over.

Re: my au pair family taking advantage

hello dutchbicycle, I would say that they are absolutely taking advantage. We had an au pair for a while and I would never have dreamed of asking her to do all of the washing or to empty a shed.
Ask if you can have a day off as you have been doing way more hours than contracted. Good luck.

Re: Is Amazon 'Just walk out' coming to Northcote Road?

I haven't seen anything on the hoardings that would suggest it is becoming an Amazon store and I would be quite surprised as it doesn't seem big enough?
