Should I keep trying to persuade my husband to have a third child?

I would really love a third child. We have two amazing young children but as one of three I have always hoped that my family would be the same. Despite always being in agreement my husband has now decided that he wants to call it a day. We can afford it, so that isn’t the issue but our youngest, is...

Re: Husband has taken the kids away without consent after an argument

What an awful way to have spent Christmas. I hope that you don't mind me saying but your husband is coming across as a bit of a bully to me. I would suggest that you do get some legal advice and understand what your rights are. If you were a relative or a close friend I would be suggesting that you ...

Re: Northcote Road weekend closure update.

Thanks for all of the updates.
Hear hear to all of your pleas that we shop local. It will be such a shame if Northcote Road chages when we could have all just done a tiny bit to help prevent it.

Re: our school is not the right fit, please help?

So sorry that this is becoming such of an issue for your daughter. Well done to her for admitting she has been sneaking the odd answer or two so that she can get the answers. How awful to feel so pressured at such a young age. I would say a change of school is exactly what she needs needs. I think t...

Re: Eveline Day School

A good friend who lives on the Heaver Estate had both of her daughters there and loved it. I seem to remember she liked that that it was very individual and nurturing. One daughter is quite musical. Her girls are now at local day schools. They were at the Eveline on Balham High Road, not sure if thi...

Re: Why use a travel agent?

Julian, are you talking from experience? I ask only that my husband is adamant we don't go abroad this summer as we won't have insurance. Have you managed to get some? Or do you think it is ok to go abroad if we use a travel agent for the booking etc.

Re: Police descend on Wandsworth Common last (Saturday) night

I was on the Common on Wednesday and saw some teenage girls directing NHS ambulance responders to a group (presumably the one that they were with). Not sure what had gone on but one girl looked very worse for worse. Drink I'm guessing?? Don't want to be judgemental as it must very hard to be locked ...

Husband not helping with kids despite working from home

I hate to men bash but I am losing the will with my husband. He has a big job, works long hours and usually our young children / house are my responsibility. I am absolutely more than fine with that. However, I had hoped that his WFH would mean that he would offer to do a bit more with the children ...
