Re: Food waste collections for all in Wandsworth

I would be keen to know if this is mandatory as well. No desire to keep a food bin on my doorstep as bait for foxes. Can anyone clarify? Thanks.

Anti ageing creams do they work?

Could anyone tell me if anti ageing creams work? And if you use one that you feel is making a difference. Bit blind sided by the millions of claims out there but I think its time!

Re: Dangerous Dog

I don't know this particular dog but I would like to add that there seems to be an increasingly number of aggressive dogs around on both Wandsworth and Clapham Common. They are seldom on leads and often jumping up at small children. I saw one get knocked over by a large dog last week. No apology fro...

Re: What do we want in Balham?

Children's toy shop would be good and a Space NK or similar as well!

I also think that Boots could do with a facelift and a bigger Pret would be very welcome! The coffee queue is massive, they need more barista's working at the same time.

Fingers crossed for any of the above.

Re: Christmas tree collection service extended until all are picked up

I do think that this is one of the worst services ever. I reported a non collection of a tree last Friday and it was collected on Saturday, which was great, but none of the other trees on the road were picked up including one next door to me and one opposite me!! How does this make sense? Huge waste...

Re: Should I pay school fees upfront - is there a benefit?

I would suggest that it isn't a good idea but that is mostly because I am quite risk averse and wouldn't want to pass that cash over not knowing what else could be coming down the line. Separately, I do think that although most schools work out for most children it isn't always the case and if you h...

Air friers - any good?

These seem to be cropping up more and more and from what I read they seem to be game changers. Wondering if this is the case from anyone who has one?  I'm interested in getting one but don't want to jump in if it will just be another kitchen gadget.

25th Wedding Anniversary gift suggestion

I have been asked to organise a group (4 couples) present for a family member for their 25th wedding anniversary. We aren't there yet  ;) so not sure of things that would be well received. I know it is a silver anniversary but when I am looking around the suggestions seem to be mainly picture frames...
