do your children send thank you cards for presents?

Can anyone tell me if I am mad to think that a thank you card for presents that I sent to nephews and neices for Christmas would be a nice gesture? I have yet to receive a single one and I think it is rather rude. Just wondering if I am old fashioned and they're no longer the done thing?

Does the theatre scene like our West end and Broadway exist in Paris?

Can anyone help answer this question that neither me nor my husband can fathom. Do other capital cities like Paris have a theatre scene like we do here and on Broadway? Off to Paris soon and wondered if we would be able to see a show. If there is such a scene could someone recommend one?

Beatrix Potter or Earlsfield Primary

I had always assumed that my children would go to Beatrix Potter but I am now hearing great things about Earlsfield Primary. Would love to hear about current or recent experiences from parents at both these schools. My eldest is a boy and at this stage seems quite confident.
