Re: Streatham and Clapham or Woldingham School

My daughter's go to Streatham and Clapham school and they absolutely love it. Academically they have been pushed to the best they can be and the pastoral care has been amazing.  A new head is joining in September and that will perhaps be a significant change.

Re: Views on Streatham and Clapham Girls senior school please

I think this school is amazing. I have daughters' there and they absolutely love it. There isn't as much pressure as other school but I have not doubt that they will come out with top marks. There is a huge focus on mental wellbeing. I think once the new head starts, the school will soar further.

Re: Weekend pedestrianisation of Northcote Road will begin at Easter

I think it is a fantastic idea to open it from April. I live just off northcote road and love the buzz of it all. I find it pretty easy to navigate but I am not elderly. Could do with some more restaurants variety.

Re: School fees for next term

No. I am not missing g the point t . It's all quite clear. If parents have been made redundant/substantial income drop then perhaps there is a case for bursaries but for most parents who are still working they should pay the fees. I concede that perhaps there could be a small discount if the school ...

Re: School fees for next term

You don't need to be a lawyer to realise they are in breach of contract. That is not the point. I'm am saddened and also disgusted that people would want to drive businesses such as schools into the ground when they are in such a difficult situation that they have not caused. We are all in this toge...

Thank you. That is really helpful. How many are in a class? Do most girls stay for the 6th form?

Re: Sri Lanka with kids at Christmas

We went with 3 children a few years ago. The youngest was two. It was one of the best holidays we ever had. We stopped at about 4 /5 destinations over 15 days but could have easily done more. We did it entirely independently and just hired a driver for the entire trip which we used as and when. We j...
