Just to add, my husband just reminded me that he missed one of his best mate's wedding as we had an unwell newborn who had spent time in hospital and I reminded him that it didn't really matter as they ended up getting a divorce!!

Well said @VitMac, couldn't agree with you more  My children are not babies anymore, but I have not and will not forgot how hard it was, @Stickysitck is in la la land and has obviously forgotten or has no idea if they think there is a straight forward easy solution.  I would never leave a young baby...

If you go ahead and buy a flat, I would look carefully at the numbers, taking into account property management fees (unless you self manage) insurance and ongoing repairs and maintenance.  Keeping in mind, that if and when the tenants move out, in my experience there will be more maintenance needed ...

Blood on carpet!!

Does anyone know which product I could use to get blood stains out of our light grey carpet? My child had an accident and there are only a few but I tried some water on one which has made it worse. I have a bottle of Vanish Oxo Action carpet and upholstery spray but I am hoping someone on this group...
