Re: What to do in France for the day?

Thanks @sloaney donkey. Yes plan to get some booze. Lille a great idea but just a little bit far for this trip. Never been there though (to Lille), so definitely one to add to the list for another time.

Re: What to do in France for the day?

Thanks @smiley. Some great suggestions here. Wimereux looks like a great option - think we will do that. Also looking at Boulogne too as that's not far away as well. Thanks again.

Re: What to do in France for the day?

Thank you @SW11er. Bruges is a great idea but I think it's a bit far for this particular trip. Would do it if we had longer than a day. X

What to do in France for the day?

Hello all, hoping for a few tips please! We're planning to go on the EuroTunnel to France for a day next week. What would you do in France for the day with 3 children aged 9, 7 and 5? We like outdoorsy things and are not into shopping centres. I know Le Touquet is supposed to be a great beach but th...

Black tie dress

Hi there, I’ve been invited to a friend’s 40th which is next week. It’s a black tie do and my simple question is what to wear? I haven’t worn a black tie dress in about 15 years and don’t have any time to go trying on different styles in the shops! Could dash to a particular shop but wouldn’t know w...

Recommendations for presents for 5-year old girl please!

Hello, my daughter is going to be 5 very soon and we are really struggling to think of present ideas for her. She has a 7 year-old sister, so lots of hand-me down toys and clothes from her, which makes it difficult to think of things she needs! All ideas welcome! She has a bike which she loves, is r...

Re: Homepath recommendation?

Wow, you clearly have a lot of time on your hands, Scott! Homeopathy works extremely effectively for us, where our GP has been unable to help us. That is all that matters to me. The pills do not contain sugar and nothing else, since they have proven time and again to work for us, as I said before. H...

Re: Homepath recommendation?

You clearly have no personal experience of homeopathy, Scott. We have used homeopathy to cure our children of all sorts of unfortunate things which our GP was unable to help with, such as molluscum, cold sores, eczema, a lingering Flu last year and numerous other ailments and illnesses over the year...

Re: Homepath recommendation?

Hi there, Why the two posters above had to post such unhelpful messages I do not know. The poster asked for a homeopath recommendation - not unhelpful comments from people who do not understand the practice of homeopathy and how it works! So, I would highly recommend these two homeopaths: Catie Shar...

Re: How do I get rid of mummy tummy?

Hi there, I really sympathise with you as I was in the same position a year or so ago after the birth of my second child. I am a size 8-10 and have always done a lot of Pilates, however my flabby and inflated-looking tummy (!) would not disappear until I found something that worked: I cut out cheese...
