Makeup application lessons

Can anyone recommend someone who can teach me good makeup application technique? I see people who have great day and evening makeup and really envy them.

Food allowance for Au Pair?

Hi all
I just wanted to get some opinions on whether if we offered our au pair cash to purchase her own food instead of having to eat what we're eating or ask us to buy her specific foods, how much would be a reasonable weekly amount?

Re: Student Visa questions

How 'bad' is it to employ an au pair from mexico here on a holiday visa? We have the option also.

Re: How hard is it to see a GP in Battersea?!

I'm having a bad experience with Brocklebank Group Practice, often they tell me there are simply no bookable appointments available at all and I have to call back at 8.15 on the dot each morning, to join a long phone queue to possibly get an on the day appointment. So basically you have to spend the...

Re: gym with creche...YAY!!

Virgin Southside membership seems to costs less per month - £55/month and under 3s has no monthly fee. Creche is £4 an hour though. When they turn 3 and pay the monthly fee I'm pretty sure they get up to 4 hours/day free creche time. I too am really happy with Southside - loads of parking, big wide ...

Re: Is my boss asking too much ?

I'm a bit confused about why a number of people have said the nanny is being exploited and that this is above and beyond etc - didn't she say the contract stated that the job involves both cleaning and childcare, and that she's not being asked to do more hours than agreed? It sounds to me that the p...

Re: Effects of Separation on Young Children

Hi, I read your post with interest (am feeling pretty down about my own relationship at the moment) and though I can't offer you any advice, just wanted to say good luck with things and hopefully someone can help you with some good advice.

Re: mother in law Xmas nightmare

Perhaps a compromise is you do your intimate family Xmas day at your place, then your husband takes the kids to visit their grandparents for the day/overnight while you enjoy some me-time at home. Just think of a reasonable reason why you need to stay behind (not feeling well, your own family needs ...

Re: Stiff neck

Totally agree with Siam beauty, had countless massages there and every one of them has been amazing. And they're open late every night and half the price of everywhere else.

Re: How to get in the mood?

I was relieved to hear tamara say those things about avoiding sex. It's frustrating because i'd love to want it every night and really enjoy it, but my libido is pretty much zero.

How to get in the mood?

Does anyone have any advice about getting interested in sex again? I am still very attracted to my husband and he to me, but I just feel like I can't get the energy or inclination to get going - I'd rather sleep or read or just cuddle. I know having a good sex life is so important for keeping your r...
