Yep definitely the teacher. They’ll be dealing with this sort of thing constantly and hopefully a quick word with the child will sort it without the other parent even being involved.
Most parents have been there, especially with girls… good luck.

I feel an outright NO will make alcohol seem even more attractive.
Good idea to speak to his friends’ parents. Some in moderation at that age (with dinner at home etc) will hopefully stop them going mad with it at the first opportunity.

If you’re looking for single sex schools and willing to head to Croydon, I loved Trinity - bit harder to get into though or it used to be.
