Re: Travel cot recommendation

We were recommended the BabyBjorn one by a maternity nurse. I balked at the cost at the time but have been really happy with it since. It's super easy to transport as it comes in its own suitcase, its light and opens out really easily.

Re: Kitchen recommendations please

In case your still looking, Extreme Design did a fab job on our kitchen. They were really accommodating in helping us to achieve the high end style design we were looking for while maximising value and sticking to a budget. Marcello was our key contact. I'd use them again in a heart beat. www.extrem...

Re: Central heating power flush

We used Andy Carding of AC Plumbing and Heating for our power flush and underfloor heating installation. So far it all seems to be working well and we've recommended him to friends who also seem to think he's done a good job.

Re: Abbeville Road - nursery for 3 year old

Hi there,

You could try the below. All of them are within walking distance of the Abbeville Road and have a good reputation in the area, although all quite different in style.

montessoriclapham.co.uk
elmparknursery.co.uk
woodentopsnurseries.com

Good luck with the move!

Re: Best sites/places to advertise our Jag

I've sold two cars on auto trader. The first was a 10 year old Renault Clio in reasonable but not fantastic condition. I was inundated with calls and it sold in days. I tried selling our Porsche which was in fab condition and at a very competitive price as we needed to get rid of it fast but got not...

Re: Carpenter recommendation

Andy did a fantastic job on our TV unit and then later on a window seat. I've had two girlfriends use him since and can't recommend him highly enough.

Re: Car Repair Garage Recommendation?

Just to update in case anyone uses this thread in the future... I called MWR and would have booked in with them on the basis of the call but they weren't able to take the car for a week. We ended up using Autocentre South in Balham who were able to take the car the same day. We walked away with a fi...

Re: Curtain makers-- Any feedback on Atmosphere?

Thanks for your feedback. Good to hear that they make a good product, you sense they would given that they have a beautiful shop front etc etc. I gave up waiting for them to get back to me with a revised quote in the end, I didn't feel I should have to work so hard to place an order! I've gone for s...

Curtain makers-- Any feedback on Atmosphere?

I'm looking to get some curtains made. Before shelling out a small fortune I was hoping to get some feedback on "The Paint House" on the NCR and "Atmosphere" on the Abbeville Road, both of whom I've received quotes from. I noticed a previous post gave some mixed reviews about The...

Re: Railings

I happened to notice someone further down the road getting their front garden done and the van outside was from Ground and Steel. http://groundandsteel.co.uk/page_3.html The railings look totally fine but obviously I've got no idea of what they are like as a company to work with, costs etc etc. I wi...
