Re: Missing child - Wandsworth

Hi there The police have just called on their rounds on my road with pictures of the little boy. Terrifying. Annabel, can we get hold of a picture of him and more details and publish on Nappyvalley Net? The police wouldn't divulge any further details but it happened in broad daylight do someone migh...

Re: Sweetpea and Willow - Any experiences?

Thanks for all your feedback. After a great deal of 'persuasion' they came to take the table back and have refunded the money. It simply wasn't fit for the purpose of a family dining table which was a great shame as I loved the style. Now I have to find a new table!

Sweetpea and Willow - Any experiences?

Hello I wondered if anyone had any experience of dealing with Sweetpea and Willow - lovely looking furniture. I have recently bought a table deeemed to be 'family friendly' on their website, made out of Mango Wood. My little girl sat down to eat on it and it has absorbed finger marks and is a comple...

Re: Anyone renting their house out for the Olympics?

Thanks everyone! I'm still calling round the agencies, but a 5 bedroomed house on Earlsfield Rd is on with Foxtons for £8076.92/week during that period. Short lets with Foxtons need to be managed and they charge 26% plus VAT for short lets, plus £1000+VAT to set up the tenancy agreement. Not sure if...

Anyone renting their house out for the Olympics?

We are considering renting our house out for the Olympics, but no idea which agencies are reputable and how we would go about this?

Anyone else considering it?

Re: Anyone used Balham Glass and Joinery?

I also sadly had a bad experience with them. They made us some new windows and the left hand side didn't match the right hand side. They made a new right hand side window but there is now a gap in between the two, so the wind whistles through and they refused to do anything about it. I have had to r...

Re: Can anyone recommend a builder to fit bathrooms?

Protea Plumbing were just brilliant - on time, on budget, clean etc. They alos live locally. Armand's mobile is 07739 716217.

My advice is get loads of quotes. One of the responses you have had quoted me over double for exaclly the same work! So definitely worth comparing.

Swimming Fear/Phobia

Hello My little boy is 4 and has developed a real fear of swimming, both in his lessons and swimming with my family over the weekend. He won't tell us what the problem is but he just screams by the side of the pool, clings on etc etc. We pretty much had him swimming last summer on holiday. I can't p...

Re: haircut at happy faces unhappy mum

Re negative post on Sally's....I have been going to Sally's for a couple of years and she does a great job of my childrens' hair so I would thoroughly recommend her. Not the cheapest, but an excellent cut for both short hair and the most stylish bob on a 2 year old I have ever seen!
