Re: Harrasment at Alfriston Road Post Office/Corner Shop

He might have thought I was rude because I asked a question about that cash machine he doesn't want to get involved BUT he was the one with shouting and yelling attitude from the beginning of the conversation until the end. Completely unnecessary. There were quite a few witnesses there too including...

Re: Harrasment at Alfriston Road Post Office/Corner Shop

Thank you Flowermummy. I am not worried about £2 or not getting enough cash for the day. I am just shocked by that shop's customer service. It might be just that cashier, I don't know if he is the owner or not, but in a neighbourhood like this where everyone knows everyone, how could he do this if h...

Re: Harrasment at Alfriston Road Post Office/Corner Shop

Actuallyadad, just because it is the only small shop in the area, it doesn't mean they can be rude to their customers.
They need to learn they have to be competitive if they want to keep their job.

Harrasment at Alfriston Road Post Office/Corner Shop

I am shaking now after a harassment by a cashier at this corner shop. After dropping off my kids at their school and nursery this morning, I went to this corner shop to get some cash. The post office there (where I usually get my cash from) was closed due to a technical problem and the cashier said ...

Re: Any experience of Butterfly afternoon sessions?

Hi, I have 2 children there and would recommend it. Our middle one goes to their morning preschool and the staff drop him off at a local school nursery for afternoon sessions. Our youngest is at Butterfly for full time and both our children are very happy there. The head teacher, Charlotte, is great...

Re: Basement conversion

We had our basement done with UHM basements and I would recommend them. We did full front to garden, which is rare in the area, and UHM did a brilliant job for us. They do sub contract out the 'fit out' but the sub contractor has been working for UHM for long time, so we didn't have any problem. UHM...

Yes it is.

Re: Belleville - ofsted 2007 - still outstanding?

Another thing to point out is that, families at Belleville are very international - lots of Europeans including French, German and Italians who are not used to pay school fees in their country. Most of those European parents I spoke to are quite happy to send their children to Bolingbroke as a first...

Re: Belleville - ofsted 2007 - still outstanding?

I heard if you want to send your children to a private secondary school, it is all down to the parents - finding tutors etc. Honeywell and Belleville are state schools and both schools don't help with 11+ at all. From my experience at Belleville, families (who would have sent their children to a pri...

Re: Belleville - ofsted 2007 - still outstanding?

Our son was in a private school for a year and half until he got into Belleville in Jan this year. I must say I was very impressed and happy to move our son after having a look at the school and talking to some parents. Belleville is great! I almost feel guilty not to pay any fees to the school when...
