Re: What's the Carmen suite in St Georges?

Hello,
I gave birth to both my children in the Carmen Suite, as far as I know that is the only delivery suite. There is also a midwife led unit, but it was full when I went into labour so unfortunately i didn't get to try that out. Let me know if you want any further info or advice.
Good luck.

Thanks for all the responses. We are just waiting now, moving down not up the list at the moment, but we have our fingerscrossed. Thanks again Sarah

Re: Playing the waiting game on Belleville's wait list

Sorry I had no intentions of insulting High View, it's just not one of our choices. I'm pleased your child is happy there and I'd not heard anything bad about it. I just want my daughter to go to her local school and where her friends are attending.

Re: Playing the waiting game on Belleville's wait list

Ha we were offered High View as well, she won't be going there!! Called council today for an update, we seem to be going backwards instead of forwards on the list this week but still very hopefully to get a place. Fingers crossed for you too.

Playing the waiting game on Belleville's wait list

Hello,
Unfortunately we didn't get into any of the schools we would have liked but are 10th on the wait list at Belleville. Am I being unreasonable to think we may have a chance. If anybody has any Wait list experience from previous years I'd love to hear what you have to say.
Many thanks.

Re: Primary school admission letters

I emailed wandsworth council and they advised me of the distance from the schools. They don't calculate it from a straight line from a to b (lambeth do though) but from shortest walking route with street lighting. email address is:admissions@wandsworth.gov.uk
hope you have better luck than we did.
